Key Responsibilities – Clinical Data associate

  • Support leading biopharma companies in improving clinical outcomes by combining scientific knowledge with a patient-focused approach.
  • Work on clinical data operations, including data collection, validation, storage, and analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining high-quality clinical data that supports the evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of medical treatments.
  • Manage clinical data used for patient care and retrospective clinical research, ensuring proper data acquisition and organization.
  • Maintain and support clinical data repositories, enabling efficient data storage, access, and management.
  • Assist in the design and development of clinical databases, ensuring smooth integration of external data.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of external/vendor data within the database build process.
  • Support the creation and review of important documents such as:
    • Protocol-Specific Addendums
    • Data Transfer Specifications
    • Interchange Format Agreements
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across different vendor data sources.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of clinical data management activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or Life Sciences graduate from a recognized university.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in clinical data management or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of clinical trials and Clinical Data Management (CDM) processes.
  • Familiarity with EDC systems and clinical databases will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of data handling, validation, and quality control processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
