Key Responsibilities – Information and documentation Officer

  • Perform literature searches using international databases and prepare structured outputs for further review.
  • Conduct regular literature monitoring (literature watch) in local and regional journals to identify relevant safety information.
  • Use databases such as PubMed and ADIS to search and list cases reported in scientific literature.
  • Support and participate in client audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with required standards.
  • Contribute to the quality control process, ensuring all tasks are performed accurately and results are properly reviewed and tracked.
  • Handle and manage client documents, including receiving, storing, and acknowledging receipt of all required files.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences from a recognized university.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance,or Freshers with basic knowledge of Pharmacovigilance (PV) can also apply.
  • Good understanding of GVP Module VI and its application in safety reporting.Basic training or exposure to Pharmacovigilance processes.
  • Understanding of literature search, review, or scientific publishing.
  • Familiarity with literature databases such as PubMed and ADIS.
  • Good knowledge of pharmacology concepts.Strong communication skills (both written and verbal in English).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work with attention to detail and manage tasks efficiently.
