Key Responsibilities โ Associate Scientist
- Execute Laboratory Experiments: Carry out experiments following established procedures and project instructions.
- Analyze Results & Improve Processes: Interpret experimental data, troubleshoot issues, and propose process improvements where needed.
- Prepare Reports & Updates: Document experiment outcomes, maintain project updates, and support overall reporting activities.
- Support Documentation & Lab Activities: Assist with routine lab work, follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and maintain accurate records.
- Follow cGMP/NonโGMP & EHS Standards: Receive training and strictly adhere to safety, quality, and EHS procedures.
- Conduct Literature Searches: Perform literature research to identify alternative, safe, costโeffective, and scalable routes of synthesis for intermediates, APIs, and impurities.
- Support Technology Transfer: Work with KGL/TT/MS&T teams to support tech transfer and scaleโup at the manufacturing plant, helping troubleshoot issues and suggesting improvements for robust, scalable processes.
Required Skills & Qualification:
- The candidate must have an M.Sc. in Chemistry with strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
- 1โ2 years of industrial experience in chemical synthesis is preferred, particularly in laboratoryโscale reactions, process optimization, data documentation, and adherence to EHS and nonโGMP/cGMP practices.
- Additional exposure to route scouting, impurity handling, and scaleโup support will be considered a strong advantage.
