Key Responsibilities – Pharmacovigilance Services new Associate (Fresher) at Accenture

  • ICSR Case Processing: Perform case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, and end‑to‑end processing of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
  • Follow‑Up & Narrative Writing: Manage case follow‑ups, draft clear case narratives, and support regulatory safety submissions as required.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all safety activities comply with client guidelines and global regulatory requirements, including ICH and GVP standards.
  • Quality & Documentation Support: Support quality checks, resolve queries, and maintain accurate safety documentation in line with SOPs and timelines.

    Strong understanding of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology, essential for accurate interpretation and coding of clinical trial data.
  • Attention to Detail & Problem-Solving:
    Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently, apply critical thinking, and proactively resolve coding or data discrepancies.
  • SOP & Process Knowledge:
    Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and the ability to apply them consistently in daily tasks.
  • Communication & Leadership:
